Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip or whipped topping, thawed
- Green gel food coloring
- Large red heart sprinkles or red candy hearts
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (optional, if needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Place the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
- Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- Add the green food coloring a few drops at a time and mix until you reach your desired shade of Grinch green.
- Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip with a spatula until it is fully combined, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
- Spoon the dip into a serving bowl and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
- Place one large red heart sprinkle in the center or scatter smaller hearts on top for decoration.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use gel food coloring for best color. Add optional milk if you want a slightly thinner consistency.
