Description
Festive and easy-to-make Grinch Oreo Balls featuring Red Velvet Oreos, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 7 oz green candy melts
- Red heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
- Add in the cream cheese and mix again until a soft dough forms.
- Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between your palms. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all dough is used.
- Chill the truffles in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts in 30-second increments, mixing between each time. If the melts aren’t thin enough, add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil and mix well.
- Dip each truffle in the melted candy melts, coating evenly, then place back on the baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining truffles.
- Use the leftover melts in a piping bag to drizzle over the truffles. Place a red heart sprinkle on top for decoration.
- Allow the truffles to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Can be frozen with layers separated by parchment paper.
