Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds beef stew meat
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the beef stew meat and cubed potatoes.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef and potatoes in the slow cooker and stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Choose beef stew meat with some marbling for better flavor and tenderness. Add vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition and color.
