Description

Delicious and portable pizza pockets filled with pepperoni, mozzarella, and pizza sauce, perfect for snacks or meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles (about 4×6 inches).
  4. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
  5. Top with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella.
  6. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pockets.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  9. Place the pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
