Description
Delicious and portable pizza pockets filled with pepperoni, mozzarella, and pizza sauce, perfect for snacks or meals.
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into rectangles (about 4×6 inches).
- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
- Top with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pockets.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
- Place the pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
