Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or quinoa, topped with mixed vegetables and garnished with green onions.
Notes
