Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Toss the diced chicken with cornstarch until coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Mix together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and garnish with green onions.
  8. Serve warm with rice or noodles.

Notes

Make sure to coat the chicken well with cornstarch for a crispy texture. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
