Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Toss the diced chicken with cornstarch until coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Mix together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a separate bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat.
- Let it simmer for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and garnish with green onions.
- Serve warm with rice or noodles.
Notes
Make sure to coat the chicken well with cornstarch for a crispy texture. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
