Description

A delightful blend of marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and creamy sauce over rice, perfect for busy weeknights or a fun weekend dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef steak (such as flank or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, and brown sugar to create a marinade. Marinade the steak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear the steak over medium-high heat to desired doneness. Let it rest, then slice thinly.
  3. In a separate pot, heat heavy cream and stir in garlic powder, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, mixed vegetables, and sliced steak. Drizzle with spicy cream sauce and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For more intense flavor, marinate the steak overnight. Use fresh or frozen vegetables you enjoy.
