A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender beef, gochujang, and fresh vegetables in a comforting bowl of ramen.

Ingredients

  • 200g beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 packs of ramen noodles
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 carrot (sliced)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 egg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil over medium heat in a pot. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in beef broth, gochujang, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add sliced carrot and mushrooms, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, then add them to the broth.
  6. Poach an egg (if using) in the broth before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy your hearty bowl of ramen!

Notes

For richer flavor, use homemade beef broth. Adjust gochujang to control spiciness, and feel free to add other vegetables.
