Description

A refreshing and delightful treat made with fresh mangoes and strawberries, perfect for hot days and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (optional, for added brightness)


Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mangoes into small pieces and hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the mangoes, strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or lime juice as needed, then blend again briefly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer-safe dish, cover it airtight, and freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid. Stir every couple of hours to break ice crystals for the best texture.

Notes

Serve the sorbet garnished with slices of fresh fruit or mint leaves. If too hard, let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
