Description

Crispy chicken topped with a creamy blend of Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, inspired by the restaurant favorite.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and the seasonings.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs with the milk.
  4. Place the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the egg mixture, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
  8. In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella and minced garlic. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the chicken.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for an hour before breading. Ensure even cooking by using evenly sized chicken breasts.
