Description

A bold and quirky pizza trend featuring creamy garlic-dill sauce, gooey cheese, and crunchy dill pickles that delivers a tangy, savory surprise.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 prepared pizza dough or thin-crust flatbread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp fresh dill (optional)
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place your pizza stone or baking tray inside.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayo, sour cream, garlic, dried dill, pickle juice, salt, and pepper to make the garlic dill sauce.
  3. Stretch the dough onto parchment paper and spread a thin layer of the sauce across the crust.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  5. Top with pickle slices, spacing them for even coverage.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill or red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice and serve hot. Great solo or with a light salad.

Notes

Use thick dill slices for the best crunch. Balance sauce and toppings to keep texture crisp, not soggy.
