Description

A warm and comforting soup that combines delicious potstickers with a rich broth, perfect for any day of the week.


Ingredients

  • Potstickers (frozen or homemade)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups greens (such as bok choy, spinach, or kale)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring it to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the potstickers and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Stir in the greens and soy sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the greens are wilted.
  5. Taste and season with pepper as desired.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or a pinch of chili flakes. To thicken the soup, mix cornstarch with water and add during cooking.
