Description
A creamy, spiced pumpkin smoothie that captures the flavor of fall in a glass while packing in wholesome nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
Instructions
- Add pumpkin purée, frozen banana, and milk to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add Greek yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla extract.
- Blend again until fully combined.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend for a thicker texture.
- Pour into a glass and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or granola.
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt. Adjust sweetness to taste with maple syrup, honey, or dates.
