Description

Raspberry Swirl Brioche Loaf is a delightful treat that combines the rich, buttery flavor of brioche with the sweet and tangy taste of raspberry jam.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1–2 hours.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly into a log and twist it before placing it in a greased loaf pan.
  9. Cover the loaf and let it rise for another 30–45 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  11. Bake the loaf for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Allow to cool before slicing.
