Description

A delightful brioche loaf swirled with sweet-tart raspberry jam, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until foamy for about 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, eggs, and melted butter.
  3. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread raspberry jam on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and twist into a braided loaf shape.
  7. Place in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before slicing and enjoy.
