Description
A delightful brioche loaf swirled with sweet-tart raspberry jam, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until foamy for about 5-10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, eggs, and melted butter.
- Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread raspberry jam on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and twist into a braided loaf shape.
- Place in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and enjoy.
