Description

A quick and satisfying breakfast roll filled with scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese, all wrapped in flaky puff pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 pound of sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan and cook the sausage until browned.
  3. Add any optional vegetables to the pan and sauté briefly.
  4. Beat the eggs in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and pour into the pan. Cook until the eggs are scrambled and fully cooked.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  6. Place a portion of the sausage and egg mixture on each rectangle, and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Roll the pastry around the filling and place each roll on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
