Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs beef brisket
- 2 onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Your choice of herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary)
Instructions
- Season the beef brisket with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
- Pour the beef broth over the brisket.
- Cover and cook on low for 480-600 minutes or high for 240-300 minutes until tender.
- Remove the brisket, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice or shred as desired.
- Serve warm with the cooking juices.
Notes
For extra flavor, sear the brisket before slow cooking. You can add carrots or potatoes for a complete meal.
