Tender and flavorful slow-cooked beef short ribs that are easy to prepare and perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 pounds beef short ribs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
- In a pan, sear the short ribs on all sides until browned.
- Place the seared short ribs in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, thyme, and rosemary. Pour the mixture over the short ribs.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or until the ribs are tender.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies.
Notes
Sear the ribs well for better flavor and consider adding vegetables to the crockpot for a complete meal.
