Description

Tender and flavorful slow-cooked beef short ribs that are easy to prepare and perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a pan, sear the short ribs on all sides until browned.
  3. Place the seared short ribs in the crockpot.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, thyme, and rosemary. Pour the mixture over the short ribs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes (6-8 hours) or until the ribs are tender.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies.

Notes

Sear the ribs well for better flavor and consider adding vegetables to the crockpot for a complete meal.
