Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 4 slices of bread, toasted
- Gravy (prepared or homemade)
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the beef broth, sliced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve the shredded beef over toasted bread and mashed potatoes, and top with gravy.
