Description
A simple slow cooker meal with chicken, butter, and veggies. Ready with little work and full of cozy, mild flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken tenders
- 1 lb baby carrots
- 1 1/2 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Place chicken in the center of the slow cooker.
- Arrange potato wedges on one side and baby carrots on the other.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over chicken and vegetables.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6–8 hours.
- Serve hot with sides of your choice.
Notes
Cut potatoes evenly so they cook at the same rate. Do not lift the lid while cooking. Add green beans in the last hour if desired. Chicken thighs can be used instead of tenders.
