Description

Delicious and easy Teriyaki Chicken Skewers perfect for a quick dinner or fun party snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into one-inch pieces
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Green onion for garnish
  • Skewers


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all teriyaki glaze and marinade ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  2. Add half of the marinade to the prepped chicken thighs and mix until every piece is well coated.
  3. Skewer the marinaded chicken thighs and set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. If using an air fryer, place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. For oven instructions, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through until fully cooked.

Notes

Use fresh chicken thighs for the best flavor and tenderness. Marinate for longer for even better flavor.
