Description
Delicious and easy Teriyaki Chicken Skewers perfect for a quick dinner or fun party snack.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into one-inch pieces
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic, grated
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Green onion for garnish
- Skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all teriyaki glaze and marinade ingredients until thoroughly combined.
- Add half of the marinade to the prepped chicken thighs and mix until every piece is well coated.
- Skewer the marinaded chicken thighs and set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- If using an air fryer, place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
- For oven instructions, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through until fully cooked.
Notes
Use fresh chicken thighs for the best flavor and tenderness. Marinate for longer for even better flavor.
