Description
A quick and cozy cinnamon roll hack using tortillas instead of dough—ready in under 15 minutes and packed with warm, gooey cinnamon flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium flour tortillas
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 4 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup powdered sugar (optional, for glaze)
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (for glaze)
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional, for glaze)
Instructions
- Warm tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds to soften.
- Brush each tortilla with melted butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle over buttered tortillas.
- Roll tortillas tightly, then slice into 2–3 pieces each.
- Place rolls cut side down in a skillet or on a baking tray.
- Cook in skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides OR bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes.
- Optional: Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For extra decadence, pour heavy cream over rolls before baking to make ‘dirty’ cinnamon rolls. Air fryer and griddle methods work great too!
