Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together crushed cornflakes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- <strong dip each chicken breast in buttermilk, ensuring it is well coated.
- Roll the buttermilk-coated chicken in the cornflake mixture until thoroughly coated.
- Place the chicken on a sheet pan and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier version, use skinless chicken breasts. Optionally, add grated parmesan cheese to the cornflake mixture.
