Description

Crispy and juicy cornflake-crusted chicken that’s perfect for family dinners or weekend meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together crushed cornflakes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. <strong dip each chicken breast in buttermilk, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Roll the buttermilk-coated chicken in the cornflake mixture until thoroughly coated.
  5. Place the chicken on a sheet pan and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier version, use skinless chicken breasts. Optionally, add grated parmesan cheese to the cornflake mixture.
